*** I found a way to remove the datestamp. Use the "resize" filter in VirtualDub to crop the movie from 720x480 to 720x420 (cropping 60 pixels off the bottem removes the datestamp). I filmed with the DV attached to the passenger sun visor of my truck, my belt (1st person view) and the front bumper of my ATV. Video quality was acceptable considering it's coming from a cheap camera. Video quality was clearest outdoors since there is more light.
